ITEE stands for Information Technology Engineers Examination. ITEE is the national level IT Engineers Examination governed by IPA, Japan.
It is one of the largest scale national qualification examinations in Japan, with approximately 600,000 applicants each year.
ITEE examination is conducted on the same date and time with the same set of questions among all the ITPEC (Information Technology Professionals Examination Council) member countries.
The examination is conducted twice a year, generally in April and October.
This examination is for testing knowledge of IT literacy. It is suitable for non-IT professionals and graduates who need to show their IT literacy capability.
Top three highest scorers of Bangladesh have the opportunity to receive “Certificate of excellence Award” from Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA), Japan, depending on examination score and number of passers.
ITEE qualification is widely accepted in Asian region. It is adopted in Philippines, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh.
It is also mutually recognized in China Taiwan, India, Japan, Korea and Singapore. As of now, an agreement of mutual recognition on ITEE examination has been made among 13 countries in Asia.
All ITEE passers get certificate from Bangladesh government.
Certificate is jointly signed by the Secretary, ICT Division, Ministry of Post, Telecommunications & IT and the Executive Director, Bangladesh Computer Council.
